Before the new semester starts you need to re-register, otherwise you will be exmatricuated. For further information concerning the procedure of re-registration please have a look at the homepage of the Office of Student Affairs.

As soon as the semester and tuition fees are being debited from your account, most of the time you can renew your semester rail ticket within one or two weeks. Please renew your imprint either at the chip card issuing point or at the department library of university medicine in Göttingen. When re-registering your card, your semester rail ticket will be reprinted on your student ID.
