With their university account students may use the possibility of creating an own homepage and publishing it on the internet. This homepage will be made available on http://stud.uni-goettingen.de/~“username”.

For this, studIT provides…

• your own free web space, where your homepage is available for a server every day and night. This account includes the programming languages .htaccess, PHP and PERL as well as access to a MySQL database.

• workstation computers with extensive HTML editors like “Quanta” and “Bluefish” as well as the image processing software “Gimp”, which create the basic conditions to make your own homepage.

Attention: Unfortunately this service is not available at the moment. We are currently working on new solutions for servers and URLs for students. We apologize for any inconvenience.
