Webspace for your own homepage

With their university account students may use the possibility of creating their own homepage and publish it on the internet. This homepage will be available via a domain which reads like http://stud.uni-goettingen.de/~“username”.

For this, studIT provides…

your own free web space, where your homepage is available for a server every day and night. This account includes the programming languages .htaccess, PHP and PERL as well as access to a MySQL database.

workstation computers with extensive HTML editors like “Quanta” and “Bluefish” as well as the image processing software “Gimp”, which are the basic tools to create an homepage.

Attention: Unfortunately this service is not available at the moment. We are currently working on new solutions for servers and URLs for students. We apologize for any inconvenience.
